I just purchased two used guns and was wondering if anyone had any information on them. I feel they are pretty good, but want other opinions.
The first is a Husqvarna Varpenfabriks AB (#324173) 270 Winchester. It's in good condition with only a few scratches on the barrel. I got it for $350 USD. For that price, I felt I really couldn't go too wrong for a Swedish gun in good condition.
The second is a SAKO L61R (#22962) 7mm Rem Mag. It's in good to very good condition. Because of the serial number, no Garcia markings and the three lug bolt, I'm pretty sure it's pre-Garcia, which most blogs say is better. I got it for $650 USD.
Any info would be appreciated. Accuracy? Craftsmanship? Etc.
