You don’t need to know anything about My Little Pony to enjoy Ponyvania: Order of Equestria, but there’s a lot of fanservice for followers of the series. The core gameplay is pretty much exactly the same as in the Castlevania games, with you battling challenging enemies, levelling up and collecting cool loot to turn yourself from a puny little pony into a badass (but still little) pony! Ponyvania: Order of Equestria is a strange mix of My Little Pony and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia and at first glance you might think “whaaat?” however the game is surprisingly enjoyable, you play as one the little ponies however you are armed with some pretty awesome special moves and a big badass axe! The game takes the form of a fairly standard platform game with enemies a plenty and lots of parts where you must use your super jumps and ducking skills to get past obstacles.

Although this game may seem very strange to those who aren’t fans of My Little Pony and finds the whole culture maybe a little odd but we urge you to give this a chance as it’s very light hearted and a lot of fun with some lovely pixel art and those who are fans should download this right now!
As you make your way across the levels you will collect currency which can be used to make your pony even stronger when it comes to battling all the other ponies and bad guys.
A much better game than you’d expect at first glance and definitely worth checking out.
